From May 4th to 5th, the 8th IMA Campus Management Accounting Case Competition National Final was held in the School of Management of Xi'an Jiaotong University. In the end, under the guidance of Associate Professor Jiang Tao from College of Finance, the Elite team composed of Lu Hao, Huang Zhengqin, Lei Yusen, Yuan Yindong and Pan Yuxi won the second place with outstanding performance. Xu Binghui, a counselor of the College of Finance, led the team to participate in the competition.
The competition was divided into eight contest areas. After six months' selection, the Elite team of our university passed through the regional semi-finals and was promoted to the national final as the champion of Northeast China. During the final, the Elite team remained calm and performed excellent without any fear. Under the theoretical framework of management accounting, the Elite team made good use of the knowledge of corporate strategy, financial management, risk control and other aspects to make a profound interpretation and analysis of the cases, and proposed creative ideas and scientific solutions. Their PPT display was vivid and eye-catching. The case was explained clearly and coherently. Finally, the Elite team won the runner-up with the unanimous approval and high praise of the judges and other teams.
